World Cardmaking Day Event & Promotion

Wow can you believe it is October already. This is an exciting month for all cardmakers as it is World Card Making Day on the 3rd of October. This is the 4th year that Stampin' Up! has been involved with this world wide event. Thank goodness that Stampin' Up! thinks it should be a month long event instead of just a day. So our promotion will run for the whole month. It also gives us plenty of time to hold our own event to go with this special time of year. My contribution will be a joint effort with my friend and fellow demonstrator Kari Hughes. It will be held  on the 10th of October and we hope to get a great turn out, the more the merrier. So feel free to invite your friends. It is a great time to get them interested in our favorite hobby, Cardmaking. Pick a Petal Card

This it the first of the 2 designs that I did with this pick a Petal card. I decided to do a simple version and then the next card I have stepped it up, I have started doing this with a lot of my cards. It is a great way to see how easy it is to take it to the next level, by adding a bit of ribbon.
